Roles of an Author

There are several roles associated with authors. You may be an author or editor for your site, depending on the role you have been assigned to do.

  • Editor: An editor can edit existing posts but does not have the ability to publish them. Editors cannot create new posts on their own; they need to be assigned by someone else with that power in order for them to be able to contribute content.

They are responsible for writing and editing content on your site before it gets published.
